Essentially, I have a strong interest in knowledge across various fields. However, due to time and opportunity constraints, I began my journey in language, literature, and culture. My current research focuses on classic Indonesian manuscripts, through which I have uncovered an earthquake manuscript from Ambon. I am also interested in environmental studies and community empowerment, which led me to join the Research Cluster on Community Interaction, Empowerment, and Social Environment at the School of Environmental Studies, University of Indonesia. Within this community, I am entrusted as the chief editor of the Journal of Religion and Environmental Humanities. Additionally, I contribute to the development of the Journal of Islamic Education Studies at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University in Surabaya and the Journal of Islamic Civilization at Nahdlatul Ulama University in Surabaya.
In the bureaucratic realm, I previously served at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology as a research staff member focusing on society within the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) team, reporting directly to the Minister's Special Staff. I later joined the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration as an Expert Staff member in the Echelon I Unit of the Human Resources Development and Community Empowerment Agency (BPSDM), where I reported to the Head of the Human Resources Development and Community Empowerment Agency for Rural, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration.
In addition to my academic and bureaucratic roles, I am engaged in social enterprise, developing Skriptoria Ahliney Manuskrip (www.skriptoria.com) as a business focused on language, literature, and culture. I also carry out community empowerment initiatives in remote, disadvantaged, and rural areas. With faith, reflection, and good deeds, I strive to integrate academia, business, and public service in my life’s journey as a contribution to serving society.
